The Grand Tour’s Jeremy and Richard ‘marooned on island’ after plane disaster
The Grand Tour cast has hit a bump in the road, as the three stars of the show have lost the rest of the production crew.
Jeremy Clarkson reached out to fans this afternoon to let them know he was "marooned" on a mystery island, 500 miles from the TV crews.
He had been flying a plane containing their filming kit across the sea before the aircraft apparently "broke".
Along with co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May, the trio has been tucking into booze to get them through the filming disaster.
Taking to Twitter, the 59-year-old said: "Only May, Hammond and I could do this: end up 500 miles away from the entire crew, on the wrong island."

Before adding: "We elected to fly on the cargo plane with the kit and it broke. Now we're marooned on a tropical island with nothing but a car and wine."
Later, he shared a photo of James surrounded by empty beer bottles, with the caption: "May is going through the rations too fast. We may not survive."
The booze kicking in, the three lads shared a jokey clip via social media.

Luckily, the Top Gear boys don't look like they'll be starving anytime soon – they happened across a luxurious poolside bar later in the evening.
Fans can expect Season Four of the Grand Tour to hit our screens this winter, as the car-fanatics drive through the tropics.
Hopefully Jeremy and his film crew reunite quickly – otherwise, we might have to wait longer than anticipated for episode one to air.
