The Boys' Black Noir actor reveals character's fate after events of season 2 as Vought faces total overhaul

THE BOYS’ Black Noir actor Nate Mitchell has revealed his character’s fate after the events of season two as Vought faces a total overhaul.

As the newest Supe to join the league, during the second season Noir was tasked with stalking Billy Butcher and the gang in an attempt to get rid of them once and for all.

After coming close a few times during the second season, he’s eventually charged with keeping watch over fellow Supe Starlight after she was outed as Vought's mole.

In the ensuing fight between Noir and Starlight, the one which almost kills the former as he is force-fed an Almond Joy – a nut he’s deathly allergic to – until he's knocked unconscious and lifeless.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, Black Noir actor Nate Mitchell revealed to fans his character’s fate after that deadly but delicious encounter.

He said: “Basically, the way I would say it is Noir comes pretty close to death. Anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock is very serious and he took a strong dose of it and he had his EpiPen nearby and fought whoever was able to get him and stabilize him.”

Stopping short of confirming whether the Supe will be back for series three, Mitchell revealed that while Black Noir is still alive he’s in rough shape and the excounter has changed him.

“He was this close [to death],” he admits. “It's a real thing for him. And in episode eight we see that he's pretty knocked out.

“He's pretty close to the… He's essentially incapacitated. He's not dead and hopefully he will come back before most think he will. But it definitely isn't something to be taken lightly."

The Boys seasons one and two is available to stream on Amazon Prime now.
