The Big Bang Theory season 12 spoilers: Kaley Cuoco ENRAGES fans with huge mistake

The Big Bang Theory has maintained a strong 12 years on CBS so far – but all good things must come to an end.

Filming came to an end recently, and fans of the show are just a few weeks away from seeing the last ever episodes air on CBS.

This has prompted many of the show’s cast to look back on their time in the comedy hit, and post a number of emotional tributes to their characters and the memories.

But Penny actor Kaley Cuoco has recently sparked some outrage from fans in her latest Instagram post.

The actor posted an image of Sheldon Cooper’s (played by Jim Parsons) sofa from The Big Bang Theory’s set.

Kaley can be seen sat on the sofa with her make-up and wardrobe team from the show.

She captioned the image: “A huge shout-out to this group of gorgeous girls who spend week after week @bigbangtheory_cbs helping me bring Penny to life!!

“Hair @faye.woods makeup Vikki McCarter on set wardrobe Alex Bates and the visionary behind all the epic BBT fashion, Miss Mary Quigley. Thank you ladies!!! I [love] you!!”

But fans were not happy with Kaley, as they began pointing out the women were sitting in Sheldon’s spot.

Throughout the years on The Big Bang Theory Sheldon has fought with many members of the cast over his spot on the sofa – with varying success.

But fans simply weren’t having it, as they began hitting out at Kaley on the Insta post.

One wrote: “in Sheldon’s spot” alongside broken heart emojis.

While another added: “How dare you sit in Sheldon’s spot, lady?”

A third chimed in to exclaim: “She’s in Sheldon’s spot!”

Recently it was revealed the show has taken a blow in the recent weeks.

The CBS programme has received fewer viewers over the past season, giving it a 12-season low.

It was revealed the latest instalment saw a 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Some fans claimed this was due to “not much happening” in the latest episodes.

One disappointed fan claimed: “This last series has not been as funny. It’s finishing at the right time.”

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS and in the UK on E4.
