Strictly’s Maisie Smith & HRVY break social distancing rules after show's Covid chaos as they arrive at studio TOGETHER

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Maisie Smith and HRVY broke social distancing rules as they arrived for It Takes Two filming together amid the show's coronavirus crisis.

The Sun can reveal that the stars have had a telling off from bosses to maintain at least a two metre distance at all times after being caught walking closely together in our exclusive pictures.

The pair have been at the centre of romance rumours since the series kicked off last month, and were joined by their professional dance partners as they made their way into the BBC studio last night.

Maisie, 19, and her partner Gorka Marquz were closely trailed by 21-year-old HRVY and Janette Manrara – with none of them wearing masks.

A Strictly insider told The Sun: "The stars are being reminded that they must stay at least two metres apart.

"It's hard to maintain, as everyone knows, but it's more important than ever now for Strictly that everyone stays as far apart as possible."

Maisie had her toned legs on display in a denim mini skirt with yellow ruffle detail and cowboy boots – keeping warm in a padded jacket.

Janette looked glam in a black dress with sheer polka dot detailing, and both men were dressed casually in all black outfits.

They looked happy and relaxed despite the show's behind-the-scenes chaos, with The Sun revealing yesterday that Nicola Adams had been sensationally axed from the competition after her partner Katya Jones tested positive for coronavirus.

In addition, judge Motsi Mabuse will have to miss the next two shows in keeping with the government's self-isolation rules after she made an emergency trip to her home in Germany this week.

Ignoring the drama, Maisie took to her Instagram Story after getting close to HRVY to gush about having a "good day" alongside a series of goofy selfies.

The pair have been driving fans wild with their chemistry after they were spotted leaving flirty comments on each other's Instagram posts.

Earlier this week, HRVY teased that something could happen between them after filming as he claimed he was "focusing on the dancing" for now due to the social distancing measures that mean he is not allowed to get too close to Maisie.

In order for the show to go ahead, bosses enforced rules that see one member of each pair living alone so that they can form a support bubble with their partner.

This way, they are able to get closer than two metres to each other for the sizzling dance routines – but they mustn't have contact with anybody else, including the other Strictly stars, crew, friends, and family members.

Maisie opted to live alone for her pairing with Gorka, whereas Janette is the one who made the sacrifice in her and HRVY's couple.

The Sun previously revealed that Strictly bosses are monitoring the two young stars closely to make sure they don't break any of their rules after spotting their chemistry.

A source explained at the time: "Maisie and Hrvy are being monitored by the producers after it’s become clear their connection could easily lead into a Strictly romance.

“They’re both young, single and hot and the thought is that the two of them could bring the other cast into risk if they break the guidelines and get closer.

“They have both been told, as have the rest of the cast, that kissing is off limits. Usually the Strictly cast are very tactile. Not in 2020.

“The cast have secretly named bosses the ‘passion patrol’.”

Fuelling speculation that there is a spark between them, HRVY has called Maisie "beautiful" several times in recent weeks, with both he and the flame-haired beauty admitting they were enjoying "getting to know each other".

They were recently seen leaving rehearsal studios just minutes apart at 4.30am – without their dance partners.
