Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Karim Zeroual to lose out on Glitterball Trophy – here’s why

Strictly Come Dancing has passed the halfway point and the remaining eight celebrity contestants now have their sights set on the bright lights of Blackpool. But before they make it to the famous Ballroom Tower, they must make it through week eight of the nation’s favourite dance competition. For Karim Zeroual, it seems the chance of him making it to week 13 is going to be cut short as Kelvin Fletcher is sitting firmly at the top spot.

According to data collected by OddsMonkey, Karim is missing out on the top spot by 0.9 of a score average.

The bookmaker looked back at all the scores the remaining seven celebrities have been awarded by the judges and worked out the average score of the series.

Sitting in first place is Kelvin and his professional dance partner Oti Mabuse.

In total, they have earned 237 points from Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.

Therefore, their average score so far is 33.9 points.

Whereas, the CBBC presenter, who is patterned with Amy Dowden has scored 231 points since the series hit television screens back in September.

Therefore, there is currently only a six point difference between Kelvin and Karim.

Karim’s average score sits at a respectable 33 points, meaning he is currently second on the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 Average Scores leaderboard.

Is this a prediction of how the series is going to end?

As for who is the third highest scoring contestant, Michelle Visage and professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice currently claim the spot.

They have only one point less than Karim and have a total score of 230 points, with an average of 32.9.

Sitting at the bottom is funnyman Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer.

They have scored a total of 169 points from the judges, with their average being 24.1.
