Stacey Solomon's emotional tribute to Joe Swash as she says his late father would be 'so proud'

STACEY Solomon paid emotional tribute to fiance Joe Swash as she said that his late father would be "so proud" of what an amazing dad he is.

The 31-year-old star secretly filmed her partner as he played with their two-year-old son Rex last night.

While Stacey relaxed in her quirky bedroom bath tub, she proudly documented 39-year-old Joe as he and Rex sang a song together on the bed.

Rex can be heard squealing in delight, with Joe tickling their little boy in the sweet insight into their home life.

Stacey captioned the video: "Stalking these two, I'm so grateful for him. His DIY is questionable, but my gosh he's the best daddy anyone could wish for…"

The pregnant TV favourite then shared a sweet photo from Rex's bath time, with the toddler placing an affectionate hand on his dad's face as they gazed adoringly at each other.

Stacey wrote: "My heart… Your daddy would be so proud! @RealJoeSwashy".

Joe's beloved dad Ricky, a London cabbie, tragically died from an undiagnosed heart condition when the star was just 11 years old.

Last year, Joe opened up about the heartbreaking moment that he called for an ambulance – and previously dedicated an incredible dance to his father when competing on Dancing On Ice.

Breaking down on the show at the time, he explained: "I'm probably so different to the person I would have been if he was… it's hard… it's a hard thing.

"I miss my dad every day. There's so much I'd love to show him. There are so many things I've done and experienced that I could have shared with him."

And Joe appears to have been SuperHusband as well as SuperDad yesterday, taking over household responsibilities while Stacey relaxed.

She ended the night with a video of herself eating a jam doughnut, telling followers: "Joe's putting all the boys to bed. He's done breakfast, lunch, and dinner today. And just smashed it in general.

"Meanwhile… I have accomplished eating three jam doughnuts today, I win."

Stacey is currently pregnant with her and Joe's second child together – and their first daughter.

She has confirmed that the baby is due any day now, with Stacey also mum to 13-year-old Zachary, and nine-year-old Leighton, and Joe dad to 14-year-old Harry from previous relationships.
