Stacey Slater suffers catastrophic blow in EastEnders | The Sun

TOUGH times are ahead for Stacey Slater and things aren't yet set to get any better.

Instead, the EastEnders character played by Lacey Turner gets one piece of bad news after another next week.

Stacey has had to deal with her twelve-year-old daughter's shocking pregnancy since the dawn of the new year.

Left under pressure, Stacey has tried to accept Lily's choices for her future, despite her declining finances.

When Lily begins to question her about her estranged father Ryan Malloy, Stacey explodes at Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and tensions arise.

But aside from her family issues, Stacey is also desperately trying to keep her bap business afloat.

Unfortunately, a stressed Stacey injures her back next week in the BBC One soap, forcing her to take a step back from her food van.

Thankfully for her, her cousin Freddie (Bobby Brazier) offers to step in to help with the business to let her rest.

All seems to be on the right track for Freddie and Stacey's Baps as he's an instant hit with the customers.

In later scenes, Whitney is wracked with guilt and heads over to the Slater household to drop a bombshell to Stacey – she told her brother Ryan that Lily was pregnant.

But before Whit has the time to reveal everything, Stacey receives an unsettling phone call from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) who tells her that her van has been broken into.

Things will be going from bad to worse for Stacey as Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) will be making his way back to Albert Square after finding out his daughter is expecting a baby.

Lily is eager to get to know her father but Stacey and Ryan struggle to get along.

When the preteen is taken to her first scan, both parents are asked to leave the room as they constantly bicker.

Stacey later reminds Lily that Martin Fowler is her real dad as he's always shown up for her.

Feeling like a burden for her struggling mother, Lily makes a huge decision which could leave Stacey heartbroken.

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on ITV.
