Sport Relief’s Paddy McGuinness pays tribute to Caroline Flack

Paddy McGuinness shared an emotional tribute to Caroline Flack on tonight's Sport Relief 2020.

The Take Me Out host said: "Recently, we lost a much-loved member of the Sport Relief family

"She gave so much of her time and talent and she’ll be hugely missed by us all.

"We send all our love to her family."

Co-host Gary Lineker added that he "echoed" Paddy's comments.

Caroline's friends and family gathered for a private funeral on Tuesday to remember the TV presenter, who took her own life at her east London home on 15 February.

On Tuesday, a number of celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the Love Island star.

Former Eternal songstress Louise Redknapp took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Caroline, which she captioned: "Thinking of you always," alongside a red heart emoji.

Stacey Solomon, who has been a real bastion of strength for other half Joe Swash who was a friend of Caroline's, revealed she would be avoiding social media platforms on Tuesday.

She said: "Today it doesn’t feel right to be on social media. So from me and the boys, we hope you have a good day.

"Hold your loved ones close, give them all of the cuddles you have in you and let them know how much you need them in your life.

She added: "You never know when they really might need to know. Love you all. If you’re struggling with today, yesterday, the thought of tomorrow, please let someone know. Anyone."
