Spoilers: Louise panics as her baby stops breathing in EastEnders tonight
Now that Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) knows the truth that Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is the father of Sharon Mitchell’s (Letitia Dean) baby in EastEnders, she feels that her daughter Louise (Tilly Keeper) has a right to know – but when a crisis strikes and baby Peggy stops breathing, the new mum fears that her daughter will die.
With Sharon having dropped the bombshell about Keanu on a stunned Lisa and implored her not to destroy Louise’s world, Lisa is torn but eventually decides that Louise needs to know the truth about Keanu’s secret.
She heads to the hospital where she is distracted and overwhelmed to be introduced to her granddaughter. As she stares down at the newborn with love, Sharon watches her closely and with huge anxiety, hoping that she won’t do anything to destroy Louise’s new family.
But any thought of her dilemma is far from Lisa’s mind when suddenly, Peggy stops breathing and nurses rush in. As Louise and Keanu panic about the fate of the newborn, is a tragic turn of events about to rip them apart?
And will Peggy’s life being on the line force Lisa to re-evaluate what the right thing is to do for Louise’s future? Can Sharon convince her to keep the secret to herself?
It’s no secret that the truth will eventually come to light just in time for a classic Walford Christmas showdown. And, with both Danny and Tilly leaving their roles as Keanu and Louise, will they escape together or will the two year long secret shatter them into pieces?
Speaking about her exit from the show, Tilly said: ‘I have loved playing Louise Mitchell over these past few years, and I feel honoured to have been part of such an iconic show.’ ‘Working with our incredible cast and crew has been a joy and I shall miss my EastEnders family greatly.’
