Spoilers: Corrie reveals Geoff's shock exit storyline?

Coronation Street viewers wanted nothing more than to see the back of Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew), and the abuser is all set to leave the cobbles — but not in the way we hoped!

With Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) desperate to get his hands on as many properties on the eponymous street as possible, he pops by Speed Daal to have a word with Geoff.

The hotelier is interested in purchasing No.6, and thus he offers to buy it from Geoff for a knockdown price.

Geoff isn’t expecting such an offer, but is the house for sale?

It would appear so, as Ray later informs partner in crime Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) that he’s managed to persuade Geoff to sell up!

Geoff later speaks to Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and informs her that he’s changed his mind regarding selling the house, and thus he’s selling it to Ray.

That’s not all, however, as he also reveals that he’s leaving the cobbles and heading to Cyprus!

As much as we’d like to see Geoff off the street, he needs to get justice for what he’s done to Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King).

The question is: will Geoff exit the eponymous street?

Or will Alya be able to make him stay long enough so that justice is served?
