Rylan Clark quits It Takes Two after four years

Strictly: Rylan laughs at Carlos’ emotional reaction to getting 10s

Rylan Clark took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to share the news with his followers. The presenter, who has fronted It Takes Two with Janette Manrara for four years, has made the difficult decision to leave the BBC show. During the sweet post, Rylan also paid a tribute to his “Strictly family”.

“After four fantastic years it’s time for me to hang up my glittery jacket and say goodbye to It Takes Two,” he wrote.

“I’ve had the best time hosting the show alongside Janette and Zoe and I can’t thank the amazing team enough for always putting on a great show.

“I’ve been welcomed onto the Strictly family and will firmly hold that title dear to me.”

He continued: “The time has come for me to pass the baton on to someone else and explore what else life has for me.

“Thank you Strictly, you will also have my heart…and my dancing feet.”

Rylan’s fans rushed to the comment section in droves to share their thoughts, with many telling the presenter, “We will miss you.”

Alan wrote: “Gutted you’ve been amazing.”

Belle replied: “Awwh Rylan, you made that show, not sure I will want to watch now.”

While Carly Anne added: “We’ll miss you but no doubt you’ll go onto other successes you’re amazing xxx.”

“We will miss you! But I hope this means you’re taking part in the main show instead!!,” Thea Morris suggested.

Rylan’s former This Morning co-star, Ruth Langsford also shared her thoughts.

She said: “Won’t be the same without you.”
