Ruth Langsford reveals clever Christmas hack that stops her being stressed on the day – and it takes just five minutes

LOOSE Women's Ruth Langsford has shared her ingenious hack for making Christmas Day a lot less stressful.

Ruth is joining her fellow panellists for a Loose Women's Christmas Eve special and will feature Stacey Solomon and fiancé Joe Swash’s first TV interview since having their daughter, Rose.

The women including, Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan, Judi Love and Janet Street Porter, will share their top secrets for having a great Christmas no matter your plans.

In a teaser clip ahead of the special episode, Ruth lets viewers in on an amazing hack to make life easier when you're preparing a feast for the whole family.

And it's as simple as making sure the dinner table is set and ready the night before the guests arrive.

"People have traditions and certain times. I have to have a schedule if I’ve got 12 people coming for lunch," Ruth starts.

"The worst thing someone could say to me if I’m hosting is, ‘Chillax, chill out.’ ‘Pardon? You chill out if you’re cooking for 12 people!’."

She then revealed her plans for the big day: "We’re having a small Christmas this year, but if you’re hosting, you have to get up, put the turkey in, people are coming at a certain time, when the guests arrive I don’t want to look like I’m in a panic… I prep my table on Christmas Eve.”

Not only will Loose Women fans find out about their favourite panellist's Christmas traditions, but also get to see Ruth try her hand at rapping.

Ruth appears in a rapper shell suit and gold chain, where she bursts into a rap song before sharing her top tips on wrapping unusual shaped Christmas presents.

The Christmas Eve special will also hear from Stacey and Joe about having their first daughter.

“This is such an exciting time for Rex. He’s two and a half and it’s the first Christmas he’s had where he’s like, ‘Wow'," Stacey says of their young son.

"The older boys are excited for him as well. It’s so lovely and nice to see them all together getting excited. And it’s just nice to be in the house.”

Joe adds: “It’s our first Christmas in our new house. It’s the first Christmas with our new baby and it’s the first Christmas we’re going to be as one big unit, we’re going to have a really lovely, lovely time.”
