Ruth and Eamonn in hysterics after appearing to call same This Morning fan twice
This Morning's new competition game Spin To Win yet again sparked chaos live on air, with another mishap.
Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes hosted Friday's edition of the ITV daytime show, and they were having just as much trouble with the game as fellow presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Yet again, like they're co-stars, they warned viewers not to call in and say "hello" – they had to say the password and nothing else.
Not following the rules leads to them being hung up on, missing out on a chance to win a prize.
It was the first caller Victoria – who later turned out to be Lisa – that didn't listen to the warning.
As Eamonn and Ruth awaited for her to pick up the phone, they were left disappointed.
When the viewer answered the phone, she said "hello" and was immediately told off.
After hanging up on her, the hosts called the next viewer hoping for success.
This time a lady named Victoria answered the phone and gave the correct answer, with Ruth cheering.
But suddenly she placed her hands over her face and began laughing hysterically.
Eamonn was also laughing, as they suddenly told the caller to wait as they ran her entry past the producers.
They explained that in a mistake, they'd called the same person twice giving her two chances to win.
Despite not giving the password and breaking the rules, the original caller – or so they thought – had been given a second chance, so Ruth needed to see if it was allowed.
Awkwardly, the producers realised the ladies were two different callers, despite sounding similar, and producers had simply got their names mixed up.
Lisa had missed out and it was Victoria who called up second, but Eamonn and Ruth were led to believe Victoria had been called twice.
Eamonn placed his head in his hand over the chaos unfolding, with the game constantly going wrong.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
