RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Eliminated queen 'devastated' by elimination

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 2 kissed goodbye to a Sister Sister in scenes that aired tonight.

The Liverpool queen became the seventh contestant to sashay away from the competition after failing to impress with her superhero outfit, following Tia Kofi, who was eliminated last week.

Falling into the bottom two, Sister Sister was up against Tayce in the notorious lip sync battle, however, she was voted out after giving the performance of her life to Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself by Jess Glynne.

‘I’m feeling devastated that I’ve left the party early, but I just feel super, super proud of myself,’ she said upon her exit.

‘It’s genuinely the most life-changing experience ever.

‘I’ll be excited to see who wins this because I thought they were all awful and lacked everything.’

‘I need a hard dunk in a big bath,’ Sister Sister continued. ‘I think I need to take these giant teeth out as well. They need a rest.’

Sister Sister’s departure from the series comes just days after she spoke out to urge the fandom to ‘be kind’.

‘I won’t lie, the last few days have been very tough,’ she penned.

‘Some of the hate I have had to read about myself has been shocking and incredibly painful. I want to thank everyone who has sent love and support, it means the world to me right now.’

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK airs Thursdays at 7pm on BBC iPlayer.
