RHONY alum Jill Zarin claims Housewives could get COVID-19 pay cuts and producers may cancel lavish cast vacations – The Sun

REAL Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin claimed the Housewives could get pay cuts because of coronavirus.

The Bravolebrity believed production changes post the pandemic may result in slashing stars' salaries.

Jill said on the Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast: "I think they're [Bravo] going to take this opportunity to cut because I don't know if they can afford to keep paying the salaries they're paying when they're, you know, losing viewers to Netflix and losing viewers, you know, to different avenues.

"And um, and they're not going to be able to do the trips and all that because the COVID, you know, it's just changed everything.

"So I don't know if they're going to be able to make the same money as they were. I'm not the only one to think that I think, yeah…"

"I think that some of the Housewives have actually said that! Look what happened with Tamra and Vicki wasn’t that over money? I thought that was over money.”

Jill and David also discussed the potential for her ever to return to RHONY.

She said: “It's not even, it's not, it's not an, it's not an option that I'm entertaining. I mean, it's, you know, I think the answer is no, that ship has sailed…"

"And I always said, I don't want to do the show if I am not having fun anymore.

"And I didn't find it fun anymore. I don't think it's fun. Killing each other and fighting with girls you don't even like.

"Being forced to take trips with girls You don't want to be with. I mean, you know, it’s not me.”

Jill's never been so far from the reality franchises, though.

She told Us Weekly she worries for Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio's marriage saying: “I worry. I think they are a really great couple, but I know that Bobby and I after a few years, I felt it.

“I felt shaky. Not very shaky, but I felt a little shaky and I hope she gets off [the show] before anything happens to her and Mauricio.”

Kyle responded on Watch What Happens Live saying: ”I did hear that. No, I just think that she was just coming from like, you know, because there is that supposed jinx with marriages and the Housewives.

"But we're going strong, almost 25 years married.

“But thank you, Jill. I appreciate that."

Jill was one of RHONY's OGs, appearing on the series from season one through four.

She recently returned to the show to attend a Halloween bash hosted by Luann de Lesseps.

Jill later relayed Dorinda was “very mean” to her at the Halloween party saying: “She was so mean to me. I said, ‘You know, Dorinda, did I do something to you? You’ve been very mean to me.’

“And she goes, ‘Bravo, Bravo Bravo! We’re not doing this on the show. You’re just using me to get on the show.’”
