RADIO One's Chris Stark reveals his wife Ria has given birth to a baby boy.
The presenter, 33, said he "couldn't be prouder" after his wife gave birth this morning.
He also announced the baby's name is Troy Ian Bango Stark.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Chris said: "I couldn't be prouder. Our little lad is here. My wife is incredible.
"We owe Claire the midwife at Wexham Park Hospital everything. Thankyou for being there for us. We will never forget what you have done for us.
"I can't stop smiling. #ThankYouNHS"
Celebrities flooded into his mentions to offer their congratulations, with One Direction superstar Niall Horan saying: "Congratulations Chris"
Singer Example said: "Incredible stuff mate. Buzzing for you guys"
Whereas fellow presenter Adele Roberts said: "Wonderful news! Congratulations xx"
Chris co-hosts the lunchtime show with fellow presenter Scott Mills.
The baby's birth was announced on the Breakfast Show after Scott filled in for regular Greg James.
Scott said: "There is no Chris Stark today. You know how the BBC is really good at covering the birth of babies? We get it right, we smash it every time, we're proud of that.
"This morning, I can tell you that I know absolutely nothing about any birth at all. All I know is that I got a WhatsApp from Chris last night."
He then told fans that the WhatsApp read: "Mate, won't be on the show tomorrow" – but Chris allegedly didn't say anything else.
However, they eventually got Chris on the line to speak about his newborn child.
He told Chris: "I'm so happy and I'm so proud and I'm just so pleased. Our little baby boy was born and it's just… it's just mad. It's the best.
"Obviously I can't say that I'm tired, my wife is just phenomenal. It's such an amazing thing to go through and she is just incredible and I'm so proud of her…"
Chris and Ria got married in Almiral de la Font near Barcelona, Spain, in 2018.
