Piers Morgan has furious off-air row about obesity with Susanna Reid before ending the row by complimenting her BOOBS

PIERS Morgan had a furious off-air row about obesity with Susanna Reid before ending the row by complimenting her BOOBS.

The co-hosts debated body positivity on today's Good Morning Britain after Cosmopolitan magazine's controversial cover of Tess Holliday was nominated for the Cover of the Year award.

Piers argued that the magazine was "glorifying and glamorising" obesity, while Susanna said women come in "all shapes and sizes".

As the show went on an ad break, the two clashed over the issue and it rumbled on when Good Morning Britain came back on air.

Returning from the break, Piers said: "Oh we've had a good old argument off-air.

"You didn't mean a word of what you said.

"Why would you, in your own life, do the complete opposite to what you're advocating?"
Susanna replied: "What? That we should accept people's bodies and that some people don't find it easy…"

Piers interrupted to say: "You went to the doctors and was told you were a little bit overweight and you dramatically changed your whole lifestyle and lost a stone and a half.

"That's worth celebrating."

Susanna shouted: "Am I allowed to speak? Tell you what, why don't you just tell me what I think?"

Piers said: "I just did" to which Susanna spouted: "But you're wrong."

The co-hosts continued to bicker before Piers said: "I'll tell you what, you looked hot last night.

"You both did," as he referred to Charlotte Hawkins.

"They really did scrub up well last night.

Now that is a body positivity image. That's what we should all be telling people to aspire to be.

"That's it – healthy, vibrant, sexy, hot. That's another body image I whole-heartedly promote.

"Why should you not aspire to look that good?
"You can either look like that or eat cakes and be 300lb. It's your choice. You will literally kill yourself.

"We have an obesity crisis in this country."

Piers added: "Talking of things that were blown up, Susanna, your dress.. It was really quite something.

"Now that is what I call a dress. Don't need a zoom on those, do we?"
