This Morning host Phillip Schofield spoke with Lorraine Kelly today all about his personal life ahead of the release of his new book, Life’s What You Make It. During the chat on the ITV show, Phillip candidly addressed the rumours of a feud with his co-star Holly Willoughby while sharing an update on how life with his family is going after coming out as gay earlier this year.

As Lorraine and Phillip discussed the positive reaction he’s received since coming out on This Morning, the ITV host admitted times are “still tough” as everyone comes to terms with the new way of life.

Lorraine said to her colleague: “You do look as if you’re back to yourself, I know it’s not easy.”

Phillip candidly replied: “It is still tough, it is a working progress,

“Every thing is a working progress, but it is tough. And, you know, I’m very conscious of Steph and I’m very conscious of the girls.”

Lorraine then weighed in as she asked: “But everything’s okay with them? You all love each other, that doesn’t change”

The This Morning star responded: “Yeah, well we all went out for dinner a few nights ago,

“And as I say ‘they’, I’m still me, they’re still them and it’s still us four.”

“Things change,” Lorraine chimed. “But that love and that relationship and that love they’ve got for you is never gonna change, of course it isn’t.”
