Peter Andre reveals his strict health regime for rock hard abs – from fasting until 1pm to one coffee a day – The Sun
PETER Andre has a strict health regime to maintain his rock hard abs – from fasting until 1pm to drinking just one coffee a day.
The star revealed if he ever feels out of shape he follows a tried-and-tested routine that always works for him and keeps him looking ripped.
Peter, 47, said: "I'm definitely in good shape but to be in that kind of shape…
"I get up in the morning and I have a black Americano, no milk, no sugar and at about 1pm I will have oats with some protein powder and nuts and seeds so I'm doing great, then I'll exercise.
The singer made waves dancing topless in the 1995 video for Mysterious Girl and has been releasing topless calendars ever since for fans.
He went on: "When I do a calendar, which I didn't do last year but this year I would have done one if it wasn't for everything, when it comes to that time I do get the abs back."
The star, born in Harrow, London, moved to Australia when he was six years old and trained as a dancer before taking to the microphone.
When his first single Gimme Little Sign reached number three and lasted for 31 weeks in the Australian charts before breaking the UK.
He told MailOnline: "It's weird because when I first had a six-pack in England very few guys were into training.
"It was very much a beer culture; it was all about going to the pub with your mates not going to the gym. But in Australia at the time, everyone was training."
In April he took a break from looking after his four kids to do a 6k sprint for 45 minutes on the treadmill, before smashing a HIIT workout at his home gym.
The Mysterious Girl singer took to his Instagram Stories to document how he burned 420 calories.
Not content with his run, Peter then cracked on with a HIIT workout, alternating between walking and sprinting.
"Stop start is always the best for me," he informed his fans.
Peter's been busy looking after his kids Junior, 14, Princess, 12, Amelia, six, and Theo, three, while his NHS doctor wife Emily battles coronavirus on the frontlines.
He now shows fans inside his life and daily routine on his new YouTube reality show for The Sun.
Pete said yesterday that Life With The Andres has taken off and he's determined to double the episodes to give fans more.
