Olly Murs' waxwork has had to be remodelled because it has been KISSED so many times
POP favourite Olly Murs melts so many hearts that his waxwork model at Madame Tussauds was worn down by visitors kissing it.
It is the attraction’s most snogged figure and has had to be remade after damage caused by thousands of pairs of lips.
Olly, 37, was happy to be measured again for the remodel to show off the weight he has lost since personal trainer girlfriend Amelia Tank, 27, turned him into a fitness fanatic.
Speaking on The Full Wax, an ITV documentary about Madame Tussauds that airs on Wednesday, he says of the old version: “Wow my head is big — I’ve lost a little bit of weight around the cheeks since then.
“To be asked to come back to tweak it and change it is a good sign. I mean, I’d be worried if they said, ‘Olly we’re getting rid of it. Do you want to take it home today?’.
“I’ve been told it’s the most kissed waxwork — everyone kisses it. I don’t know why but people really do have the urge to kiss my cheeks.”
And the former X Factor star chuckled: “It blows my mind.”
Olly’s figure was unveiled six years ago and quickly became the one visitors most wanted to pose with while planting a smacker on the face.
It even eclipsed movie heart-throbs George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Staff had to wipe the face, readjust the ruffled hair and top up the make-up once an hour to prevent it becoming stained with lipstick.
But it was decided this year that maintenance was no longer enough and a remake was needed.
