Noah makes discovery on Amelia’s social media account in surprising Emmerdale scenes
Emmerdale's Amelia Spencer has found herself in a worrying situation as her social media use spirals out of control and tonight (Wednesday), Noah Dingle will discover just how risky things have got.
Amelia (Daisy Campbell) has been using social media posts to make money and promote Mandy's salon, but she is finding out the hard way that posting online means she has no control over who can access her content.
Her dad Dan (Liam Fox) has already been angry with her about her missing college, but when Noah (Jack Downham) is concerned enough to go to Dan with worries about what he has found on Amelia's phone, he can't believe what he is hearing.
Noah has been uncomfortable with Amelia's obsession with her phone and social media, but she firmly tells him if he can't be supportive then she wants to cool things off – so he decides to win her back around by offering to come over to work on some college projects.
However, when Noah sneaks a look at Amelia's very active phone notifications, he is horrified by what he sees and tells Dan when he arrives home.
Amelia is furious at what she sees as Noah's betrayal and insists that she is more than capable of handling the inappropriate messages she has privately been receiving.
But things are set to get much worse for Amelia when a suspicious man called Lloyd arrives at the salon claiming to be a customer and makes her feel uneasy as he watches her with a strange intensity and tells her that he is her top subscriber on social media.
She had believed her top subscriber was actually a woman, so Amelia feels very uncomfortable – and her worries are heightened when Lloyd traps her inside the salon and demands one-on-one time with her.
Luckily, Mandy returns in time to save Amelia and when she calms down, she insists she doesn't want her dad to know, but with Lloyd still contacting her there is no other choice.
The situation escalates when Dan realises that Lloyd knows where they live and he also manages to get hold of Amelia's personal phone number, leading him to put his foot down and contact the police – but will they be able to help?
Meanwhile, Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) are battling to keep their relationship strictly professional as the attraction between them grows.
But they aren't the only ones struggling with an illicit passion, as Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) is growing jealous of Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) offering plot suggestions to Liam Cavanagh for his novel (Jonny McPherson) and is keen to revive their affair.
Liam leaves some pages lying around for Wendy to see in the hope of drawing her back in as a story editor, but is surprised to find she also wants to rekindle things between them.
