Nick Cannon's critics are furious after he teases he has THREE kids on the way this year | The Sun

THREE may be a magic number for Nick Cannon.

That's how many new babies the actor and host teased he may actually be welcoming before the end of the year.

The 41-year-old is already a dad seven times over. And it has also been previously revealed that he is expecting one child, or possibly two, but this is the first time he's mentioned three.

While guest hosting Entertainment Tonight, he engaged in a conversation about his upcoming kids with co-host Nischelle Turner.

As she playfully tried to goad the Drumline star into revealing the number, Nischelle offered an over/under of three.

Surprisingly, Nick revealed that was "close."

"You would be safe to bet on three [more children] in 2022," he said on the show.

Online, fans slammed the total, calling the father-to-be "irresponsible" and "troubled."

"He needs to see a therapist," one person tweeted. "It’s not normal wanting kids from different mothers nonstop."

Another added: "Well it takes 9 months to have a baby. So he's done until 2023."

HAPPY FAMILY

Nick currently has seven children with four women: 11-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with Mariah Carey; Golden "Sagon," 5, and Powerful Queen, 1, with Brittany Bell; 1-year-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with Abby De La Rosa; and Zen, who died in December at 5 months old, with Alyssa Scott.

He's currently expecting his eighth child with Bre Tiesi, who could be arriving any day.

He is also believed to be welcoming a ninth child, this time with his previous baby mama Abby.

It's not yet known who the mother of a third child this year – baby number 10 overall – would be.

ALL OVER?

The talk show host previously suggested his baby making days could soon be behind him, admitting to E! News Daily Pop that he has had a vasectomy consultation.

"I ain't looking to populate the Earth completely, but I'm definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have," he told the outlet.

"I don't know if I would've designed it this way, but it's one of those things when you're blessed with the gifts of children."

He added: "As we all know, I've been through so much, I find solace, I find peace in my children and I find purpose. So, I'm not out here looking."

HE DOES?

And while he waits for future Father's Day celebrations, there is new speculation Nick may be preparing to walk down the aisle again.

The rapper sent fans into a meltdown when he shared photos of himself hugging a mystery woman and presenting a huge diamond ring to her.

Nick was previously married to Mariah from 2008 until 2016.

He captioned the photos: "I said I would never do it again but…Finally doing what the world wants me to do…[ring emoji]."

The father-of-six's fans flooded the comments with their excitement, with one posting, "Congratulations!" and another adding: "Eek this is amazing."

However, others were more skeptical about the photos, wondering if the post is a way of promoting a new movie or music video.

“Must be a movie,” one wrote, while another asked: “What movie this for?"

NEVER AGAIN

The mystery behind the ring is only heightened by the fact Nick has been adamant in the past about never getting remarried.

During an appearance on the It's Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast, Nick said marriage just isn't for him.

"I love my family and I love all of my children and every woman that's given me the blessing to experience that, but marriage and all that goes into that, it's a lot. I mean, everybody who's married knows that it is," he said on the podcast.

"You're literally entering a partnership that says, 'We're two become one.' I'm not built for that. I've tried it, I've tried it, even without infidelity or any of those things. And I have to admit, clearly, I have issues with being selfish.

"I have issues with insecurity. I have issues where most people can't admit, but I've struggled with my ego and all that stuff."

But Nick says he is open and honest about his views.

"I let [the women I have children with] know from the gate [about my views towards marriage]. It's not out of disrespect, it's more respect," he explained.
