NETFLIX UK and Ireland has revealed its most popular 2019 releases – and The Crown series three didn't make the cut.
The drama about the British Royal Family has won a slew of awards for its first two seasons, and introduced a new cast for season three to reflect the ageing of the monarchy.
But according to Netflix's most popular releases over the last 12 months, the show – now starring Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter – hasn't made quite the impact it might have expected.
The streaming giant doesn't release viewing figures like traditional TV networks but it has produced lists of the most popular shows in each region.
For the UK and Ireland, there are seven 10-entry categories with some popular shows featuring on them including The Witcher and Stranger Things.
