Nana McQueen dies in Hollyoaks' devastating Christmas tragedy?
Nana McQueen’s (Diane Langton) health is set to take a turn for the worse in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes, leaving her nearest and dearest in tears.
The much-loved stalwart is seen gripping her chest in agony in the Channel 4 soap’s Winter Trailer, much to the horror of John Paul (James Sutton) and Goldie (Chelsee Healey).
‘We need you Nana!’, says Goldie, who has become emotional.
The four-minute preview also sees Nana in hospital, with Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) – who returns to the soap in upcoming scenes – sitting by her bedside.
Mercedes is incredibly emotional, which could hint at her receiving sad news about the McQueen matriarch.
‘Life can be a nasty little rascal,’ says Nana. ‘But nothing’s ever that bad if we hold onto those that bring out our biggest, daftest smiles.
‘So if you’ve got someone who makes you feel like royalty, you can’t just chuck that to one side.
‘You remember what you meant to each other, and you fight for it. Do you hear me?’
Will it be a sad Christmas for the McQueen clan this year?
The soap’s signature family have been through a lot in recent months, after Sylver’s (David Tag) near-death experience.
They were also evicted from their home in heartbreaking scenes, after Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) kicked them out in the wake of hiring Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) as the manager of The Dog.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays – Fridays at 7pm on E4.
