Montana Brown sexes up Celebrity Mastermind but viewers joke her short skirt will give John Humphrys a 'heart attack'

The Love Island beauty took part in the celebrity special alongside comedian Elis James, former Bond Girl Madeline Smith and Casualty actor George Rainsford.

Montana, 23, appeared on the show in a short cream skirt and checked shirt, with a pair of towering nude heels making her legs look even longer.

While she managed to score 10 points for her specialist subject – TV show Desperate Housewives – some viewers were more distracted by her pins.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Giving him a eye full there. #CelebrityMastermind #Mastermind".

Another added: "I don't know who Montana Brown is but her skirt is far too short for #celebritymastermind."

A third joked: "Montana Brown’s skirt will give old Humphries a heart attack! #celebritymastermind"

Indeed Montana's skirt did spark quite the debate as a fellow viewer tweeted: "….can you wear a skirt that length on @BBCTwo ?#celebritymastermind."

Host John, 75, asked Montana about Love Island, which she starred on in 2017.

Montana admitted the ITV programme "isn't real life" but was glad it had given her a "platform" to do charity work and engage with young people.

She also defended the show, insisting it was "escapism" for families and that the drama in the villa is "relatable" for many viewers.

However Montana made an embarrassing mistake in the general knowledge round, after John asked: "What battle of October 1805 was a fleet commanded by Admiral Pierre-Charles Villeneuve defeated by a British fleet under the command of Lord Nelson?"

While the correct answer is Trafalgar, Montana guessed "Hastings", which famously took place in 1066.
