Michelle Keegan has a lookalike cousin and fans can't tell them apart

MICHELLE Keegan has sent fans into a spin after sharing a throwback picture of herself and her lookalike cousin Katie Hough.

Actress Michelle, 32, posted the snap on her Instagram page over the weekend and her followers could not believe the family resemblance.

In the snap, Our Girl star Michelle is wearing a bright red leather jacket, teamed with a crop top and high-waisted jeans, finished off with a black bag and white boots.

Michelle's hair has also been curled, meaning her cousin Katie actually looks more like her with her sleek brunette locks.

Sharing the photo on Instagram, the former Coronation Street star simply said: "It’s a family thing."

Fans were quick to comment on the remarkable similarities between Michelle and her cousin.



One simply wrote: "You look so alike!" Another added: "Seeing double!"

A third wrote: "That’s one good looking family."

The picture came after Michelle and Katie were both snapped at Brooke Vincent's baby shower.

Michelle's former Coronation Street co-star is expecting her first baby and held a lavish event to celebrate on the weekend.

The cousins were all smiles at the event and were holding hands when they left later that evening.

Katie often mentions Michelle on her own Instagram account and previously described her as her "best friend".

She was Michelle's bridesmaid when she married former Towie star Mark Wright in 2015 and has been known to reminisce about the big day.

She said: "Cousins are those childhood playmates who grow up to be forever friends…LITERALLY.

"Such a special person in my life this one I couldn't be without you, the ups, the downs, the tears, the laughter the memories, EVERYTHING, we have been through it all together by each other's side.

"How would I ever cope with you?"

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Mark quit his job in America and moved back to the UK to spend more time with his wife.
