Megan Barton Hanson SLAMS Wes Nelson's skating partner Vanessa Bauer for 'not looking her in the eye' and announcing 'tactical breakup' hours before first performance on Dancing On Ice

The Love Island star blasted the professional ice skater for her "tactical break up" with her boyfriend and not introducing herself to her at last night's show.

Taking to Instagram stories, Megan said: "@@Vanessabauer_skates love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!

"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night, you didn't even look me in the eye LOL.

"Hope the tactical breakup got you the headlines you wanted babe. @wesnelson"

Wes took to Instagram to defend Megan, writing on his story: "Oh and give it a rest with this Dancing on Ice curse b******* as well it's laughable."

Vanessa's split from boyfriend circus performer Louis Nathaniel was revealed in The Sun.

He had become concerned about her growing closeness to her skating partner Wes Nelson, 20, who is himself dating his Love Island co-star Megan Barton Hanson, 24.

Vanessa, who won the series last year with Jake Quickenden, 30, had been with Louis for two and a half years.

Following Vanessa’s win in March 2018 she praised Louis for his support as well as Jake’s then-fiancée Danielle Fogarty, 27.

Alongside a post of her with Louis on Instagram, she wrote: “Jake and I are so blessed to have the most supportive partners in our lives.

“My boyfriend Louis came to every single show supporting Team Jake and Vanessa!

“Success is very rarely earned completely alone. Surround yourself with people that give you the chance to grow and get to where you want to be with so much love.”

He echoed her sentiments with a similar message, writing: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of this one!

“Put in SO much effort every single week and fully deserved to win. Up on cloud 9 right now.”
