Marvel movies: How to watch Marvel movies IN ORDER – Time revealed
Every year or so, a new Marvel movie is released into the ether. Whether it is an Avengers movie where all the heroes join together, or an origin story to explain their backgrounds, MCU films are always sought after. For fans hoping to enjoy them at home, however, how can they do so and how long will it take?
All the Marvel movies are now on Disney Plus in the UK, so fans can enjoy every MCU film whenever they like.
There are multiple ways to enjoy the films ‘in order’, as different subsections of Marvel fans believe ‘the correct order’ are two very different things.
One way will see fans enjoying the movies in the order they were released, which is very simple to work out based on their release dates.
Here is the order of when the MCU movies were released:

The Avengers / Avengers Assemble

However, there is a second and more complicated way to enjoy Marvel films: their chronology within the MCU.
This is more tricky to work out, as some of the films do not seem to fit into a particular timeline.
With that being said, there are some movies which make clear where they are set, such as Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain Marvel.

The total running time of these movies is staggeringly long, though it does include all of the fairly hefty credits sequences for each movie.
Adding up the official running times for each film gives a total running time of just shy of 3000 minutes, landing at 2996 minutes exactly.
This totals a whopping 50 hours of viewing time, or just shy of this at 49 hours and 56 minutes.
