Madonna slammed for off-key singing about ‘fried fish’ in bathroom during coronavirus quarantine

MADONNA clearly isn't immune from the challenges of quarantine boredom.

The 61-year-old singer baffled fans on Friday with a video of her singing about eating fried fish.

The Like A Prayer megastar shared a clip of her launching into a tune, akin to Vogue, complete with dance moves.

More used to singing in stadiums with thousands of dollars of sound equipment, the Evita actress instead swapped her microphone for a hairbrush and danced around her bathroom.

‘Come on, go, let’s go eat some fried fish…come on, vogue, I mean go…’cause there’s no more pasta, oh no, we’re gonna eat some fried fish, yeah,’ she sang while twirling around her bathroom.

She captioned the video: "Living in Special Times…………thank GOD for imagination and fried fish! #quarantine #covid_19 #staysafe #becreative."

She wore a tight black T-shirt and matching cargo pants.

Despite being inside for days on end, Madonna's hair looked beautifully styled in blonde waves and she had applied bright lipstick.

Her cream and white bathroom was filled with an abundance of products and there appeared to be a refection of a lighting rig in the mirror for the 'impromptu' outburst.

Followers were not impressed by either the song or by her singing.

"Is that really her voice? I'm starting to think she did a Milli Vanilli on us for her entire career?" wrote one, referring to the 80s band who didn't sing their own songs.

"Even with the sound off this is peak cringe. Utterly worthless," wrote another.

Another savagely tweeted: "did you actually sell millions of dollars of albums with this tone-deaf braying, when I can sing perfect pitch in my living room right now and don't have a dime to my name?"

Madonna has been living in Lisbon, Portugal, for the last few years to support her son David Banda's football career, but also has homes in New York City and Beverly Hills.
