Lauren German has portrayed Chloe Decker since Lucifer began in 2016. After five seasons, Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) and Chloe are finally together but there are still several unanswered questions about Chloe. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

What happened to Chloe Decker’s parents?

In Lucifer season five, part one, Chloe learnt she was blessed at birth by Lucifer’s brother, the angel Amenadiel (DB Woodside).

Ever since the revelation she may have been created by God (Dennis Haysbert) for a specific purpose, Chloe struggled to understand she may have been created as a “gift” for Lucifer.

Amenadiel did not know exactly why he had been asked by his father to bless Chloe and Lucifer fans were also left confused.

One fan on Reddit asked: “Why are they saying Chloe is made for Lucifer? When they revealed it they said Chloe was God’s gift.

“I know she was born because of a blessing, but they never told us about her being made for Lucifer. Did I miss it?”

A second fan h2p012 said: “My guess is that God put Chloe in his path because he saw a vision of how she helped him Grow.

“Made her immune to his Mojo specifically because he wanted her to stand out to him, knowing it would draw him to her.”

There is the possibility Amenadiel could have blessed Chloe’s mother, Penelope Decker (Rebecca De Mornay) so she could have a child.

Chloe’s mother, Penelope is an actress and famous 80s sci-fi movie star.

During her marriage to Chloe’s father, John Decker (Chris Payne Gilbert), they struggled to conceive.

The angel Amenadiel blessed the couple and they later had a daughter Chloe.
A Reddit user explained: “All they’ve said for sure is that God sent Amenadiel to bless Penelope Decker so she could have a child.

“Whether or not He played a part in that child being female, being in the right place at the right time to meet Lucifer, either of them having feelings for the other, that has yet to be determined.

“Maybe He did, or maybe it has just been one giant coincidence, they really haven’t spelled it out yet.”

Sadly, Chloe’s father, John Decker, an LAPD police officer was killed when he attended a robbery gone wrong.

At the time of her father’s death, Chloe was just 19-years-old.

Due to her mother’s fame as an actress, the paparazzi swarmed her father’s funeral, leading Chloe to punch one of the cameras out of their hands.

Shortly after her father’s death, Chloe decided to leave acting and follow in her father’s footsteps working in the LAPD.

Chloe serves as a Detective and it was through her job as a detective, she met the love of her life Lucifer Morningstar.

In Lucifer’s alternative universe episode in season three, God manipulated events so John Decker was never murdered, removing the reason Chloe joined the police force.

Her father was promoted to lieutenant and Chloe became a famous actress.

In the alternate universe episode, God was trying to show Lucifer what would have happened if his son had never met Chloe.
