Love Island winter series axed with hit ITV2 show to return in summer 2021

Hit ITV2 dating show Love Island has axed its winter series and will return to screens in summer 2021.

This year’s summer series of the mega-popular show was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and it has now been announced that it will not return until next summer.

ITV announced in a statement to MailOnline: “Love Island UK will return bigger and better than ever with an extended run in summer 2021.”

The show’s first winter series aired this year, with Paige Turley and Finn Tapp winning the series, but a winter series will not be airing in 2021.
