Love Island winner Amber holds back tears as she reunites with her dog Obi – The Sun
AMBER Gill fought back tears as she enjoyed an emotional reunion with her pet dog Obi after winning this year's Love Island.
The Geordie lass, 21, sat on the floor and held her face in her hands as her pooch excitedly jumped up at her.
She shared the heartwarming moment on her Instagram stories and wrote: "Reunited with Obi. My heart."
Amber, who was dressed in a black baseball cap, a zip up top, leggings and flip flops, hugged and stroked Obi as she received a hero's welcome along with boyfriend Greg O'Shea.
The finalists were mobbed by friends, family and lots of cheering fans at Stansted airport today as they returned home from the Love Island villa.
Maura's family were out in force with huge posters of her famous phrases – and even wore T-shirts with the hashtag "f***y flutters".
After landing, Curtis said: "Here we are at Stansted Airport about to go through then we can go home, woo!"
Earlier Amber and Greg had posed with a snap of Amber on the front cover of airport magazine Jet Away after boarding the plane.
The original islander hasn't been home in nine weeks following a whirlwind summer in the villa filled with fun, laughter and some heartbreak along the way with her ex-Michael Griffiths.
But she looked over the moon to be spending her final morning in Majorca with her Love Island pals as they posed on the runway.
The couple – who met 12 days before winning the show – took fun selfies of the gang as they flashed their passports and thanked fans for all of their support.
The islanders all shared kisses as they started their journey outside of the Love Island bubble.
Maura said: "I'm back everybody. Absolutely shocked and overwhelmed with all the support for me and Curtis.
"Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
"We love you all. London we on the way."
Back in Majorca, runners up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury grinned from ear to ear as they took selfies on the runway.
Meanwhile Ovie and India cuddled up to winner Greg as they celebrated being out of the villa.
Last night Amber and Greg posed in bed together in their first selfie since winning the show. Greg gushed: "Love Island… Completed it mate."
The couple were crowned winners of the fifth series in a shock result on Monday night after less than two weeks together.
The Sun Online revealed they're now set to become millionaires within months, with Amber likely to bag a £250,000 clothing deal within the week.
A top industry insider said: "Amber is the stand-out star of the series.
"She'll sign a £250,000 clothing line deal within the week. After that she'll have hair and make up brands banging down her door wanting her to be their new face.
"Amber is a strong, independent woman and represents everything that big brand companies are looking for right now.
"She will definitely be a millionaire within six months.
"With Greg it's harder to tell as he's so new onto the scene, but if he sticks with Amber he will reap the rewards and make a fortune."
