Love Island: ITV shares cryptic message hinting the new islanders are in the villa as Day Dot edges closer

Love Island fans are getting more and more excited as the launch date for season five edges closer.

The ITV2 match-making show is set to return to screens on Monday 3 June – and ITV have now shared a cryptic post hinting that the islanders have already started filming in the villa.

A quote which was heard on many an islander’s lips was posted on Friday, which read: “I’d be lying if I said she wasn't my type” – alongside the ominous words that “Day Dot is coming”.

The fifth series has already got the fans talking, and rumours are running rife of who could be entering the villa.

According to reports, show bosses have now “recruited” plus-sized model Jada Sezer, who describes herself as a “self love advocate”.

A source told The Sun: “Previous years have been criticised for a lack of diversity among contestants.

“This year producers are determined to have more variation among the Islanders.

“Jada would be a perfect choice because she is passionate about body positivity – and even appeared on Good Morning Britain in her underwear before running the London Marathon.”

The Mirror reports that “body confidence” is an important issue with producers, as contestants are expected to spend most of their time on the show in bikinis.

A source added: “Producers have been talking at length with her and are hopeful they might feature her later in the series.”

Opening up on her incredible figure, Jada, who is a size 16, revealed on a podcast: “This is my natural weight and I’ve been able to make a career from it.

“If I was to stop liking cake and lost weight then I would probably lose clients because when you get down to a size 14/12 it can be harder to get jobs.”
