Love Island fans left cringing at Davide and Ekin-Su’s ‘horrendous’ first kiss

Love Island stars Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu shared their first kiss and viewers certainly didn't hold back about their feelings towards it.

After Friday night's dramatic recoupling, Davide, 27, chose Ekin-Su, 27, after Luca Bish chose to couple up with Gemma Owen, 19.

Shortly after the recoupling, Davide assured Ekin-Su that he would've chosen her if he had picked before Luca.

She responded: "I'm glad you picked me. You are literally the best looking guy in here."

Ekin-Su then told Davide that she wanted to say thank you and leant in for a kiss with the self-certified Italian stallion.

Viewers immediately took to social media to share their feelings on the couple's first kiss, with several branding it "horrendous."

One wrote: "That was the most horrendous kiss i’ve ever had to witness #Loveisland."

"That kiss was acc horrendous LMAOOOOO cringe," another penned.

A third took to Twitter and said: "That kiss looked horrendous, sorry. Just mashing each others’ faces up lmao."

"That was the most disgusting kiss I’ve ever witnessed #Loveisland," someone else quipped.

Others took to Twitter to reveal that watching the intense kiss made them feel "physically sick."

"That was the most aggressive kiss I’ve ever seen. I feel physically sick," one admitted.

Another wrote: "I’m not even kidding when i say i feel physically sick after davide and ekin-sues kiss #Loveisland."

"THE WAY THAT DAVIDE KISSES MADE ME PHYSICALLY GAGGGG #Loveisland," a third said.

While another agreed: "That kiss was actually vile."

Shortly after her kiss with Davide, it wasn't long before Ekin-Su showed interest in new boy Jacques O'Neill – the ex boyfriend of Gemma.

In a chat with the 23-year-old, Ekin-Su said that if entered the villa the night before then "things could've been different."
