Love Island: Elma breaks silence on Maura’s ‘predatory’ behaviour following her eviction from the villa

Love Island star Elma has reacted to Maura’s behaviour with Tommy Fury following her eviction from the villa.

Last week, viewers watched 28 year old Maura repeatedly trying to kiss the 20 year old boxer, and now, the reality star has now given her views on the matter.

In an interview with MailOnline she confirmed she was “gutted” to leave Love Island so early, but is happy to be back with her friends and family.

And discussing the scene between Maura and Tommy – which prompted over 480 Ofcom complaints for her ‘predatory’ behaviour – she revealed she would “not be comfortable” in that situation.

“I knew about the kiss but I haven't seen the clip,” she started.

Before defending her friend: “I didn't know she was on top of him! I know she's quite forward but I wouldn't call her a predator or whatever she's being called.”

However, the Essex born reality star did reveal that she would never “put herself in that situation”.

“I wouldn't be comfortable in that situation, no. I'm not the same person as Maura and I'm not the same person as Tommy.

“I think they handle situations differently and I wouldn't put myself in a situation like that generally. That isn't me as a person,” Elma exclaimed.

Discussing the Irish model’s predatory behaviour she explained: “I think she means it a lot more jokey. She's a jokey person.

“She's sexually jokey… She's got a lot of charisma.

“She has a funny side, she isn't how she's being presented to an extent.”
