Lorraine Kelly heaps praise on 'absolute delight' Meghan Markle greeting public

Lorraine Kelly had nothing but praise on Meghan Markle after she greeted the public following the Queen’s death.
In the wake of the monarch’s death, the Duchess of Sussex joined her husband, Prince Harry, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton to greet the public.
Speaking about Meghan’s appearance, and Harry and William stepping out together, Lorraine said: ‘I think this is really good and it shows the touch that they’ve got, you can see. Harry and Meghan are so good with the crowds.’
‘She looked a wee bit nervous, I have to say. I don’t blame her for feeling nervous, I really don’t, but she was an absolute delight,’ she added of Meghan.
Lorraine added that she was ‘quite surprised by how sad’ she was following the Queen’s death, as she spoke out on her first show back since the news was announced.
ITV made sweeping changes to its daytime and evening line-up after the Queen died at her Balmoral home aged 96 on September 8.

It has prioritised rolling coverage of the aftermath of the monarch’s death, which has meant pulling some of its staple shows from the schedule.
However, while Loose Women is still yet to return, Lorraine made her return on Tuesday in her usual slot of 9am.
Loose Women remains cancelled at 12pm to make way for an extended ITV News Special which will cover The King’s Tour – Northern Ireland. The Lunchtime News will then air at 1:30pm followed by Queen Elizabeth II – Return To The Palace at 4pm.
Emmerdale will also return to screens at 8:05pm before a special documentary, Charles, The Monarch and the Man is broadcast at 9:05pm. The programme, hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby, is set to look back at the achievements of King Charles III who was formally proclaimed after the Queen’s death.
ITV News at Ten will air at 10pm with Our Queen, The People’s Stories at 11pm, featuring stories from people from all walks of life reflecting on meeting the Queen over the years.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, with the UK in a national period of mourning.
