Lori Loughlin All Smiles in L.A. During Hug-Filled Outing with Daughter Amid College Admissions Scandal

Lori Loughlin was seen with her daughter Isabella on Friday, just days after the actress appeared in court for her alleged involvement in the college admissions cheating scandal.

Loughlin and her 20-year-old daughter Isabella Rose were photographed smiling together on Friday afternoon while running errands together in Beverly Hills.

As they waited for the valet attendant to bring their car around, Loughin and her daughter shared a sweet mother-daughter moment, giving each other a warm embrace.

Loughlin, 54, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, 55, are among the dozens charged in an alleged college admissions cheating scam involving elite colleges and universities including Yale, Georgetown, the University of Southern California and Stanford.

The Fuller House star and the Mossimo clothing company founder allegedly paid $500,000 to have her daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, be designated crew team recruits even though they had never rowed, the indictment states. (It is unclear whether or not Olivia Jade and her sister Isabella Rose are believed to have known about the alleged scheme.)

On Wednesday, Loughlin and Giannulli appeared before a judge for the first time in a Boston courtroom.

During their 6-minute hearing, the couple waived their right to a preliminary hearing. They also agreed to several pretrial conditions, including surrendering their passports and no possession of firearms.

After the hearing, Loughlin reached over to the next table to shake the hands of the prosecutors. The couple faces felony charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

Loughlin and Giannulli have yet to enter pleas in the cases against them. Another court date for them has not been set.

During her time in Boston, Loughlin appeared upbeat.

Upon her arrival on Tuesday night, the actress signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans, and as she entered the courthouse the following morning, Loughlin smiled and laughed when somebody made a joke about the elevator getting stuck.

Since news of the scandal first broke in March, Loughlin and Giannulli’s daughter Olivia Jade has faced intense backlash, which she’s still struggling to come to terms with.

“Olivia is still distraught and embarrassed. She hasn’t been home much,” a source recently told PEOPLE of the YouTube star. “She is very angry with her parents. She just wants to figure out how she can rebuild her brand.”

Olivia Jade, who was vocal about her indifferent attitude toward school before the scandal broke, “blames her parents for everything,” the source added.

“She would have never gone along with it if she thought this would happen. Her thing is that she trusted her parents,” the source shared.

As the backlash against Olivia Jade continues, a source previously told PEOPLE that the 19-year-old has no intention of returning to school.

“She didn’t care if she got into USC. She just wanted to focus on her business,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “She feels that she worked very hard for something that she loves, and she has no idea what will happen with her business in the future.”
