Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall struggles to sleep amid ‘withdrawl symptoms’ from bandmates – The Sun

JADE Thirlwall has admitted she is "struggling to sleep" amid the coronavirus lockdown as she has been quarantined from her Little Mix bandmates.

Jade, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson were planning to spend April in the midst of a new album campaign but after the UK government placed the country into lockdown, the album launch was postponed.

Now Jade has admitted that she is "having withdrawal symptoms" from the girls.

"I am really struggling to sleep. I'm a bit of an over thinker anyways, so when I get to bed that's when I have all these thoughts going on in my head. I struggle to sleep anyway but it's in overdrive at the minute," she told Glamour magazine.

"I'm definitely having withdrawal symptoms. Just because we have a laugh every day at work and I genuinely see the girls more than I'd see my family or friends.

"I'm really missing the girls especially because we were just about to go headfirst into our campaign. I'm missing not doing work with them."

Since they formed on 2011’s The X Factor, Jade and her bandmates have scored four UK No1s, released five albums and sold more than 50million records to become one of the biggest girl groups of all time.

Jade wrote the band's latest track Break Up Song last summer with Perrie and Leigh-Anne, but their sixth album, known to fans so far as LM6 has been pushed back as the country battles COVID-19.

The girls were formed in 2011 on The X Factor and 2021 will mark a decade since won The X Factor – and they are already planning the anniversary celebrations.

Jesy previously told The Sun: “It’s just mad. It doesn’t feel like ten years. Well it does and it doesn’t. It’s crazy."

She added: “We have spoken about it. We definitely want to do something, whether it be A Night With Little Mix where we do a big show talking about all the stuff that we’ve done and do some performances and have some guests on.

“We’d love to do something like that. Or maybe a special ten-year tour.

“We’ve spoken but we haven’t got anything cemented in.”
