Line of Duty: Steve Arnott in grave danger after star posts cryptic clue?

Line of Duty’s last season left many questions unanswered as fans are desperate to know what’s next for AC12. Today, one of the main stars of the series Martin Compston, sent fans into meltdown after posting a cryptic tweet of his new script – what’s up next for DI Arnott, Fleming and Hastings?

Compton, who stars as DI Steve Arnott, was nearly thought to be a goner in series four after he was pushed down a flight of stairs leaving him temporarily wheelchair bound.

Last season saw Arnott at the centre of proceedings, what will be his role in season six?

The epilogue of last season suggested Ted Hastings (played by Adrian Dunbar) will continue to be involved in some suspicious actives after he was seen approaching John Corbett’s (Stephen Graham) window with an envelope.

Corbett was the head of OCG (Organised Crime Unit), and seemed to have unexplored links with Hastings from the past, which may well resurface in season six.
