Katie Price praises exes Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler as she puts year where she ‘wanted to give up’ behind her – The Sun

KATIE Price has paid tribute to exes Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, saying: "They are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands."

The 41-year-old reality star is staying at home with "high risk" disabled son Harvey, 17, while Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, live with Pete, and Jett, six, and Bunny, five, stay with Kieran.

Today, Katie released a brutally honest trailer ahead of an special episode of her show My Crazy Life where she was shown in rehab admitting: "The only reason I’m still sitting here now is because of my children.”

Speaking about the scenes on the hour-long Quest Red show, which will hit screens on Monday 4 May, she told The Sun Online: "It was a dark and lonely time.

"Whatever way I turned, I ended up going the wrong way, doing, making and taking the wrong choices.

"I lost who I was, I didn’t know who or where I was headed anymore – I wanted to give up."



She added: “This special is probably the most personal thing I have ever done – the final chapter of a nightmare that is now over and the start of a whole new world and life for me.”

Katie said she was missing her children but praised 47-year-old singer Peter and 33-year-old Kieran and said she kept in touch over video conferencing.

The star explained: "I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard.

"Kieran and Peter are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands."



She earlier explained "Harvey is one of those who are at a high risk of dying if they get it, so I haven’t been able to see my other kids."

Pete has been keeping followers up to date with what's going on with Princess and Junior as they spend days in his Surrey mansion with Amelia, six, and Theo, three – his children with wife Emily.

This week the Mysterious Girl singer shared a video of his daughter Princess’s amazing singing voice, which saw her gaining thousands of followers on video-sharing site TikTok.

The proud dad was blown away by his daughter’s vocals as she sang Bruno Mars’s When I Was Your Man., saying: "OK, this surprised me."



Katie's one-hour special of My Crazy Life will explain Katie’s treatment at The Priory for post traumatic stress disorder  after she suffered a breakdown.

It also tells how the special will document Katie’s career relaunch with a make-up tutorial in Newcastle and a trip to the French Alps to perform her comeback single at a garage music festival.

The trailer released today shows the star saying: "I've been to hell and back but I'm starting to feel like me again."
