Jordan, 30, and AJ Pritchard, 26, have each taken part in several trials during their time in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! castle and have both been quite successful in their attempts. With the number of contestants dropping every day, it seems the remaining all-stars keep battling out on who will try and win dinners for the camp. During Thursday night’s episode of the ITV reality show, who would be taking part alongside Sir Mo Farah, 37, seemed to cause some contention between the two men.

With all the campmates agreeing Mo should do the trial, the BBC Radio 1 presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing star both put their names forward.

Jordan explained he had done a few tasks before but his fellow cast member had already been out of the castle the same day to take part in the coin challenge.

“I didn’t think Jordan was up for another one because I know AJ’s keen to do one, you know, Mr Style,” Shane Richie, 56, commented.

“And then Jordan was getting a bit like, ‘AJ wants to do one as well,” the soap star continued, with Vernon Kay, 46, stepping in to find a solution.

He suggested the pair settle the score with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, which didn’t sit too well with the professional dancer.

“It’s not the way I usually work,” AJ replied, with Vernon asking the former Strictly star how he would decide on who would take part in the trial.

With tensions mounting in the camp, Giovanna Fletcher, 35, pointed out they had always gone by how many challenges each contestant had taken part in.

Commenting on the atmosphere, the-mother-of-three said: “AJ and Jordan, they both wanted to go out there tonight.

“To bring home the stars, bring home the food and it was really tough and really awkward and you kind of want to go, ‘Can you just decide so I don’t have to say anything’.”

Putting an end to the spat, Shane then decided AJ should take part in the trial and the radio presenter would get the first innings next time if he remained in the show long enough to do so.

It seems there were no hard feelings as Jordan said in the Telegraph: “AJ wanted to do it, I wanted to do it and he’s going tonight and the best of luck because I think he’s going to smash it.”

The former Strictly star was excited to be taking part with Mo as he commented: “I cannot believe this is happening. It’s a pinch myself moment.

“A knight of the realm, in a castle doing a trial together. What more can I want. Maybe less critters!” the youngster continued.
