Joe Sugg: Dianne Buswell’s boyfriend reveals how Strictly changed his life

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell announced they were together after they danced together on Strictly Come Dancing. The pair have been together for just under a year and have already moved in with each other and started to build their lives for the future. 

With a joint tour on the horizon, Lorraine Kelly was keen to see how they are.

She spoke to Joe this morning, telling him: “Strictly, I mean it really did change your life in so many ways.

“First and foremost you met your soulmate.”

Joe smiled and agreed with what the host said.

She went on: “And you’re still together so that’s fantastic.”

A picture of Joe and Dianne dancing appeared on the screen behind the interview, which the YouTuber couldn’t ignore. 

He gasped: “Look at that line!”

Lorraine wondered if he could still make that shape with his body, to which Joe erupted in laughter.

“You know what, probably not. I need more lessons,” he giggled.

The YouTube sensation added: “We still every now and then dance around the kitchen.

“We’re going on tour as well together!”

Lorraine couldn’t help but ask Joe about his girlfriend’s shock exit from Strictly Come Dancing last night.

She was partnered up with Dev Griffin and despite the pair getting strong scores, they were eliminated last week. 

When asked what happened, Joe replied: “Good question. What did happen? 

“I think like the rest of the country right now I’m in massive shock. 

“Absolutely gutted for Dev and Dianne.”

Lorraine asked how Dianne was and if she was ok, to which Joe responded: “No, not really. I really don’t think it should have been them to go.

“I think they had so much potential. He was an amazing student.

“It doesn’t seem,” he started to say, before cutting himself of and simply adding: “Weird.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One at 6.40pm.
