Jinger Duggar's husband Jeremy Vuolo admits to 'drinking,' 'partying' and getting arrested before 'serving Christ'

JEREMY Vuolo has revealed he decided to dedicate his life to 'serving Christ' after he was arrested for 'harassment' against a police officer.

The former professional soccer player was arrested in 2008 for the offence and at the time had a blood-alcohol level of .13 percent.

In a preview at tonight's episode of Counting On, the pastor, 32, revealed how his life took a dark turn while playing the sport and explained how getting arrested was the wake-up call he needed to turn his life around.

He shared in the sneak peak: "For guys who stop playing, they're on a contract or they get injured, the rest of their life they're aching to play.

"For me, it was like God took that passion for soccer and just relocated it into ministry."

Jeremy also admitted he turned to drinking and partying before realizing that he was "living a life that wasn't honoring Christ".

"I ended up getting arrested. I was drinking, I was partying in college, just being a foolish young guy."

In January of 2008, Jeremy was arrested for for “harassment” against a police officer, according to a police report obtained by Radar Online.

The reality TV star had a blood-alcohol level of .13 percent at the time of his arrest.

He was ordered to play $250 in fines and a surcharge of $95 at the time.


Reflecting on his lowest point, he shared: "That was the turning point for me.

"From that point forward, I made the decision that I'm going to actively serve Christ with my life."

Currently, Jeremy is expecting his second child with wife Jinger Duggar.

Jeremy is happily married to wife Jinger Duggar, who he began dating in July of 2016 after seven months of courting.

They were married shortly after in November and in 2018, announced that they were expecting their first child, Felicity.

In May of 2020, Jinger revealed that the couple were expecting their second child after suffering a miscarriage in the Fall of 2019.
