JEREMY Clarkson must replace the roof on his new farm shop as it is the wrong material, planning forms have revealed.

The Sun columnist and TV’s Grand Tour host got permission for the store, which opened in February, as long as officials approved the materials.

But a builder unaware of the condition used a green steel sheet, which they didn’t like.

The new roof will be slate tiled.

Several locals voiced their objections to the plans when approval was first sought.

But 'The Grand Tour' host took it in his stride and said he didn't blame those who were complaining – adding "otherwise what is the point in planning permission".

Jeremy, 60, is believed to be filming his progress on Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxon, for an Amazon Prime series.

Diddly Squat Farm gets its name from the poor crop yields on the surrounding land.

When the farm opened around 100 people turned up to grab produce grown on Clarkson's land – with a humourous sign promising prices would be "less than Aldi".
