Jennifer Lopez strips down to skimpy leotard in first look at new rom-com Marry Me with Owen Wilson

JENNIFER Lopez looks better than ever in a first look at the new rom-com Marry Me, that she will be starring in alongside Owen Wilson.

It was recently announced that the blockbuster – which is based on Bobby Crosby's novel of the same name – pushed back its release date by three months due to the current coronavirus pandemic.

Marry Me, which was supposed to hit our screens on Valentines Day next year and is directed by Kat Coiro, will now officially be released on May 14 2021.

Jennifer, 41, took to Twitter to share the news with her 42.2 million followers with some sneak peek snaps from the movie – with one where she's rocking a silver leotard surrounded by backing dancers.

She told her followers: "Just say YES … 5.14.2021 #OwenWilson @maluma @egt239 #MarryMeMovie @MarryMeMovie"

Fans couldn't contain their excitment and replied to her tweet with nothing but love and support.

One replied: "Thank you for changing the date! Almost everything is closed here in norway, afraid that the cinema would be closed in February. The date is changed, save the date 14 May. Can't wait @jlo@maluma"

A second said: "Can’t wait for this movie. I wish it didn’t have to keep getting pushed. f**k rona."

A third wrote: "Yay!! This snap shot just expresses how amazing this movie will be!! #MarryMovie."

A fourth added: "So excited! I’m sure it’ll be worth it! Love ya Jen."

The On The Floor singer also shared another grab from the movie, alongside co-star Owen Wilson.

She wrote: "#ChangeTheDate! You’re invited to @MarryMeMovie on May 14, 2021!

The film follows the love story of Katalina "Kat" Valdez (Lopez) and Charlie Gilbert (Wilson), who meet at a concert.

Kat is a latin popstar that finds out her boyfriend Bastian (Maluma) has been sleeping with women behind her back and decides to get rid of him.

So like any normal person dealing with heartbreak, decides to tie the knot with a maths teacher – Charlie Gilbert – who was holding up a "Marry Me" sign at one of her gigs.

The cast also consists of Sarah Silverman as Parker Debbs, John Bradley as Collin Calloway and Utkarsh Ambudkar as Coach Manny.

Lopez will also get to show off her sensational singing skills alongside Colombian singer Maluma for the film's original soundtrack.
