Janine kills Jada in EastEnders as her huge exit storyline is revealed?

Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) is set to make an explosive exit from EastEnders, and it seems as though Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) might play an instrumental role in her departure.

Janine, as viewers know, is keen to rid the Square of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who – despite her best efforts – refuses to leave her family.

Knowing that it’s likely a matter of time before Mick (Danny Dyer) remembers that he’s meant to be with Linda, the show’s resident schemer decides to up the ante next week, after Mick admits that he’ll continue to visit Linda in prison if she’s sentenced.

Seeking out Jada, Janine blackmails her into helping her to ensure Linda is out of the picture once and for all.

Jada is torn, but it seems as though she ultimately obeys Janine’s commands.

Linda, meanwhile, heads to court for the hearing with Mick firmly by her side, and she’s left in shock when the judge refrains from handing out a prison sentence.

Filled with the joys of a fresh start, Linda returns to Walford, leaving Janine seething, but with her plan in motion, it seems as if the landlady’s happiness will be short-lived.

Zack Hudson (James Farrar) arrives at the pub with bad news – the question is: just what has transpired?

That remains to be seen. Jada, meanwhile, comes to regret her actions, telling Janine that they’ve gone too far.

Janine, however, shows no remorse – but one can’t help but wonder if Jada will face Janine’s wrath, now that she’s having second thoughts about what she’s done?

We know that Janine is capable of just about anything, and given how desperate she is to remain in Mick’s good books it’s likely that she’ll go to the ends of the earth in order to keep her scheming and manipulation a secret.

Will Jada therefore pay the ultimate price? Will Janine commit murder in a bid to keep Jada quiet?

Jada is set to leave the Square – as the character was one of several axed from the show as part of a major shake-up – so anything is possible.

One to watch: Tuesday August 30 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
