Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith talk ‘swooning’ over women in candid ‘Red Table Talk’ clip
Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter Willow Smith are opening up about their romantic feelings for women.
In an advance clip from Wednesday’s episode of “Red Table Talk,” shared exclusively with USA TODAY, the mother-daughter duo got candid about “swooning” over women, with Pinkett Smith saying she could see her daughter “falling in love with a woman one day.”
“I’ve had my fair share of swooning and being like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so beautiful. She’s so talented,'” Smith, 20, replied.
Pinkett Smith, 49, said she’s “swooned a lot” over women as well.
“Two times I’ve been infatuated with a woman,” the actress added, nothing that these instances happened “early, early on” in her 20s.
Given her past feelings, Smith said she wouldn’t be surprised if she fell in love with a woman one day.
“I don’t feel like I’ve been in love with a woman just yet, but I definitely feel like it could happen, because I’ve had very strong feelings for women before,” she said.
This isn’t the first time the mother and daughter have shared their thoughts on sexuality and relationships. During a 2019 episode about polyamory, Smith said she loves “men and women equally” and “would definitely want one man, one woman” if she were ever to be in a polyamorous relationship.
