Jacqueline Jossa hints at return to EastEnders and says she loves Lauren Branning

JACQUELINE Jossa has hinted she'd love a return to Albert Square.

The former EastEnders actress told fans she'd love to get back on the small screen and reprise her role of Lauren Branning.

Talking to followers on social media, when a fan suggested a return to EastEnders, she replied: "Maybe one day. I LOVED my time on the show."

The actress, 27, played the character from 2010 until her departure in 2018, when Lauren fled to New Zealand with husband Peter Beale and son Louis.

She said previously about the soap: "I absolutely love EastEnders, love the people, the production and I absolutely love Lauren Branning with all my heart."

Jacqueline joined the long-running BBC soap in September 2010 and was the second actress to play Lauren Branning.

When Jacqueline fell pregnant, Lauren disappeared from screens in February 2015, and returned permanently in May 2016.

She later left the soap in February 2018, and went on to win I'm A Celeb… in 2019.

Aside from the BBC soap, the talented star is not adverse to branching out when it comes to her acting.

"What a dream," she commented about potentially appearing on Call The Midwife.

Followed by, "I'd love to," when answering a question about starring in Ackley Bridge.

The mum-of-two has been busy with her social media and fashion line, buthusband Dan Osborne has admitted they'd both like more kids in future.

Dan is already dad to six-year-old Teddy from a previous relationship, and he and Jacqueline share five-year-old Ella and two-year-old Mia.

The 29-year-old former Towie star told The Sun Online exclusively: "I think it’s lovely to have a big family. Jac wants one. But having four kids – do I have to buy a limo?

We’re not getting to trying yet. When you have done it three times, part of me is like, just let them three grow up.

“But then, there is another part of me that when I look at the pictures – like little Mia – you think that when they are that age, they’re just cute.

"We would like one, I guess. Jac looks amazing pregnant and it would be nice adding to the family.”

Dan and Jacqueline have been together for seven years after meeting at an awards ceremony in 2013.

Jac recently opened up to her fans that she’s finally learned to love her body and the way she looks.

Posing in a bikini, she shared several "honest" snaps by the pool.

The Jungle Queen was keen to point out that she is proud of her size 12 curves but admitted she hasn't always felt so confident.

Jacqueline, who has two young children, said she initially turned down the opportunity to create her own collection because of her insecurities.

Sharing the snaps on Instagram, she told her fans: "It’s taken a while but I’ve learnt to love both angles ?.

"You guys know me by now and I’m as normal as they come.

"I’m a working mum and a size 12 and I can’t walk around looking perfect all the time and I’ve accepted that’s completely fine.

"So this is just a little reminder to all us women that EVERY body is a bikini body and the perfect instagram pics we see isn’t always the reality, sometimes it’s just good lighting and good angles!"
