Is Al plotting with 'dead' Jamie in Emmerdale?

Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) loves nothing more than a mysterious business related phone call, and he was smirking down the blower again in Emmerdale.

Grabbing the Woolpack with his greedy mitts, it soon transpired in a less than shocking turn of events that there is more to his desire with the boozer than pulling pints and dazzling customers with his welcoming aura.

As he boasted that they were going to make a huge amount of money from this deal, the big question is – who is on the other end of the phone.

Fans reckon they have it cracked and feel it may well be Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) who recently faked his own death.

Jamie plunged into a lake and when his car was dredged out, there was no body and Kim (Claire King) expressed pride in her son for his ability to pull off a classic Tate trick.

Al has been burned by Kim before and Jamie has more than a bubbling resentment towards his mum.

Could they be joining forces – and what plan do they have for the Woolpack? If so, how might it wind up Kim? It doesn’t take much…

Al & Jamie buy the pub 😜 #emmerdale

Oh he’s totally planning something with Jamie #emmerdale

Who was al talking too? Debbie? Jamie? #emmerdale

It remains to be seen who Ali is plotting with as many other names have cropped up such as Joe Tate, Debbie Dingle and Declan Macey.

And recently it was confirmed that Footballer’s Wives actor Ben Richards has been cast in the show.

So perhaps it’s a whole new character altogether.

Whatever the outcome, fans are unsure about the prospect of Al taking over the pub – and whether he might plan to actually keep it as it is.

A village pub isn’t likely to make Al rich – so what will?
