Inside Strictly star Shirley Ballas’ incredible home with antique furniture and Queen Vic style bust – The Sun

SHIRLEY Ballas is busier than ever as head judge on Strictly Come Dancing, so what better place to wind down after a long day of filming than at her plush London abode.

The professional dancer, 60, who relocated to the capital after living in LA, lives in a beautiful home which features a huge TV and antique furniture.

Shirley enlisted the help of The Sparkle Company – a UK based furniture company- to decorate her entire home.

As you step inside the London pad you're greeted to open plan hallway and living area.

The living room is complete with a beige leather sofa set, white cabinets and a large TV screen, which is situated above the fireplace.

The cream colour scheme follows on into the dining area, which is decorated with a gold antique mirror, wooden table and white chairs.

Shirley also has a Queen Vic style bust as pictures of herself and boyfriend Danny Taylor, 47, are framed on the walls.

Her plush bedroom is the perfect place for Shirley to hit the snooze button.

The space features a plush cream headboard with mirrored furniture at either side.

It also boasts an immaculate walk in wardrobe.

When it comes to hosting guests, Shirley revealed she's a "perfectionist."

She previously told Hello!: "I like the knives and forks to be in a straight line. I like the spoons and everything to be in the right line.

"I like the table to be beautiful with flowers and a nice tablecloth. I'm the hostess with the mostess."

Shirley has spent much of her life living between London and LA.

However, she recently sold her LA home to focus on Strictly.

Her former Californian property, which was £1.6 million, is where she called home while working as a judge on Dancing With The Stars.

The stunning home featured a large swimming pool and plenty of space to relax and have people over, particularly her son Mark who lived nearby.

She has previously said: "I'm the happiest at home when I get a visit from my daughter-in-law, BC Jean, and Mark Ballas, my son.

"They'll pop round for breakfast or I'll attempt to cook them a meal. That's the most special time for me."

And when she's not at home, Shirley is busy critiquing contestants on the BBC dance show.

She made her first appearance on the Strictly panel in 2017 as head judge, taking over from Len Goodman.

She specialises in Latin dance and her success at championships earned her the nickname The Queen of Latin.
